As of late

I had a couple adventures in the last few weeks. First off, me and some filthy fellows took a trip up the east side of harrison lake to clear creek hot springs. The springs are nice but a little too much garbage laying around in the creek for me. I got to soak in the tubs though and it was nice. In the morning we took a trail to boston bar. My buddy kirk ran out of gas less than a kilometer from the gas station but didnt know it was so close so he sat there for an hour before i went looking for him. Pretty funny. We pounded the pavement for a good 80kms then hit a sandy road to ashcroft and had a nice drink and went for a walk in the natures. Woke up and rode home through lilloette and took highline to pemberton on the way back. Good weekend. Nobody died. Then last weekend a few of us went up to stave and dicked around in the mud flats.

Chain too short

I was helping kirk change his rear sprocket to a bigger one. Now the chain is too short... Time for an unscheduled chain replacement

Grown ass men learning to dirtbike

El kirky came over for a visit and we ended up going on a little adventure down some logging road to the lake. We took a trail called sandman in the blue mountain/mcnutt trail area for dirtbikes. It was super fun. Those trails get wild pretty quick. Its alot of work dragging the xt through some of the obstacles in there. We made our way out and back onto the logging road and went for a dip at alouette before heading up to some sand dune type area. Maple ridge is a fun place to have an enduro. Kirky dangerous flew over the edge of a scary burm and tossed his bike to save himself. I went to rescue him but flipped my xt in the process and my chain fell off. Half hour later our xt's were back in action and we rode home, but not before kirk lost his license plate. Classic xt500 day!!

So the chief got swiped from my yard in May. 1 month goes by without a hint of where he might be then, boom! got a message from the cops. They found my bike!!!! holy shit, seriously! i could not believe it. It got painted with some white house paint and some stuff was stripped off but, it still fired up on the first kick! and what the hell?? thanks dude for charging my battery. I've been slacking on posting on the blog so here's a quick one from the canada day weekend. i would have more photos but the camera got broked.
