solo trail ride to alouette lake

i moved out to maple ridge. today i took a fun little trail to the lake. only 10 minutes down the road and i'm in the bush getting muddy and wet

ASCHCROFT AGAIN

 this last weekend we headed up to ashcroft again. we went in 2 waves. Beau Pete Craig and myself left in the morning so that we could do some fishing and enjoy our day ride. the second wave was tory, j-bone, mitchy, and curtis, they got 3 flats, ran out of gas, couldnt find us and arrived at a sleeping spot at 3:am. we met up with them in ashcroft to find them getting torys tire fixed and gassing up to head back 140kms to retrieve torys bike that was left behind. never the less it was a fun trip

the mailman had a surprise for me today, my don vesco xt500 desert tank is here at last. the brown chief is goona become a silvery grey brown machine, but i'll still call him chief brown trout because that's his name

i began the summer with a trip to ashcroft. it was the best so, i thought it would be a good idea to end the summer with another trip to try and catch some nice fishies and ride the mountain side with my motorcycle friends. heres a couple photos from the first trip. heading out friday morning, a second wave of buds are heading out after work on friday
